WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO EAT MORE

Most people want to lose fat. Let's all agree on this.
However, most people do not begin their plan correctly.
Losing body fat is much like flying and landing an airplane.
You cannot take off on 0 fuel, and you sure as hell cannot land properly if the flight was all over the place.
It takes your body several weeks to create a true set point. It is important at that point that your nutrition is fully loaded from all avenues - proteins, fats, carbs, micronutrients, etc.
It's important that your body sits in this environment for quite some time. We aren't talking days, but weeks and months. WHY?
Well, how else is your body going to reach homeostasis?
Your body loves consistency. It doesn't want to diet. It doesn't want to feel that it's starving. It wants supply. In fact, your body loves being fat (er).
The key to permanent fat loss isn't slashing calories.
It's actually the extreme opposite.
Any of my clients know that I usually overfeed them for quite a while prior to slashing any calories or manipulating variables. They don't understand until they're down 50+# and starving to death. (Kidding).
It's important to add calories back in after dieting, correctly, otherwise you will go into metabolic shutdown (different topic).
I hope this sheds some light why eating more is actually needed.

Omg! I remember thinking when I first saw my nutrition plan you created for me that I wanted to LOSE weight and not gain it. And when I saw how much I was supposed to be eating I was apprehensive about eating it all, I’m not going to lie. But this is where the trust in your Coach comes into play - KEY FACTOR - and you were right 💯! I was eating more food - the right kind of food - and LOSING weight. I was amazed at the process! 🤩
Adam, you are a prime example of consistency and determination. Most people (99% tile) fail after 2-3 weeks to applying themselves, you never came close to slowing down. When the work ethic is there, the results are endless. You will see. Keep inspiring us all.
This was one of the hardest things for me to wrap my head around when I first started working with you. I was 252lbs and the meal plan you gave me, had me eating more than I ever did before. Granted, it was all the right kinds of food, but it was still hard to wrap my head around that concept. It was hard eating that much at that time. I wasn’t always hungry for every meal. I’m now down to 193lbs, so it’s very apparent to me now, that this craziness really does work!
